Carlos Renteria
Carlos Renteria is a T32 predoctoral training grant fellow, and a graduate student in the Biophotonics Imaging Laboratory, led by Stephen A. Boppart. His research focuses on developing optical imaging tools to monitor and elicit dynamic activity in neural tissue. By tailoring the spectral-temporal properties of the supercontinuum light sources generated in the lab, he hopes to monitor the effects that exogenous agents and tailored optical stimuli have on cellular function, communication, and metabolism.
