The Gaulke lab works to identify the microbes and their biochemical pathways that shape the impactsof chemical, nutritional, and pathogenic exposures on human health. Ultimately, we aim to use thisinformation to identify biomarkers of exposure and engineer microbial consortia that mitigate their impacts on health.
