Canine Lymphoma: Updates on diagnostic and therapeutic strategies
Lymphoma is a common neoplastic disease in dogs and can be a complex disease to diagnose and treat. In this session, Dr. Matt Berry, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology) and Dr. Mike Rosser, DVM, DACVP (Clinical Pathology) will discuss the latest recommendations in diagnosis, staging, and treatment of canine lymphoma. Case-based examples will be used to help practitioners understand limits of cytology and when and why to pursue molecular testing such as flow cytometry or PARR. New and historical lymphoma treatments will be reviewed, and key communication points will help practitioners be able to discuss chemotherapy with pet owners and help prepare them for referral.
