Associate Dean and Professor

Dr. Jim Lowe has traveled around the world, working in private practice and academia, pursuing his passion to improve human lives by improving food production systems. His research incorporates on-farm biosecurity and leveraging technologies to improve veterinarian and caregiver decision making. He also collaborates with researchers at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital to study genomic epidemiology of influenza A. He serves as associate dean for Online Programs and Extension at the College of Veterinary Medicine and is a professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Medicine.
