Assistant Professor
Dr. Jennifer Reinhart received her DVM from the University of Illinois in 2010. Following a rotating internship at Cornell University, she completed her residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Kansas State University and was boarded in 2014. She received her PhD in comparative biomedical sciences from the University of Wisconsin in 2017 and obtained board-certification in the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacologists in 2019. Since 2017, Dr. Reinhart has served as an Assistant Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at her alma mater, the University of Illinois.
FIP Updates
This session will cover the current recommendations for diagnosis, classification, and management of FIP. Importantly, we will discuss the use of GS-441524 for treatment, which is newly available in the United States. We will also discuss other antiviral therapies under investigation for the treatment of FIP.
Blastomycosis! Scourge of the Midwest
This session will cover the ins and outs of diagnosing and treating blastomycosis in dogs and cats. There will be a focus on current recommendations for therapeutic and monitoring strategies for this disease.
