Signalment and history:

A one year old male neutered Rottweiller is presented one day after he tried to jump the fence in the back yard, and was caught and hung by the forelimb.

Physical examination:

There are some abrasions to the forelimb, but no other injuries noted. The dog is extremely active and the owners are concerned that he cannot be confined well. They will try to keep him in the house, but may have to build him a kennel in the back yard.
