Signalment and history:

A seven month old male castrated domestic shorthair cat is presented after he jumped from a barstool and got caught in the frame. He was non weight bearing on the right rear limb and resisted palpation of the hip. The owners are very attached to this cat and want to do whatever is necessary to “fix him”. The cat is an indoor cat and can be confined to a large dog crate.
