Our current interests

Brianna Moore

Our laboratory is driven to discover new ways to improve cancer control and provide scientific rationale for recommendations made in every day oncologic practice. We have particular interest in the following areas: (i) developing novel therapeutic cancer vaccines; (ii) understanding the role and modulation of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in the context of cancer; (iii) characterizing tumor-associated microbes and explore tumor microecology disruption as a therapeutic strategy; (iv) rationalizing chemotherapy tactics; and (v) improving supportive therapies (managing cancer pain and chemotherapy-induced gastrointestinal upset) for companion animals with cancer.

  • EV Cancer Vaccine

Development of an adjuvant-conjugated extracellular vesicle (EV) cancer vaccine strategy

    (EV) therapeutic cancer vaccine
  • Chemotherapy-Induced Diarrhea Trial

Scientifically discerning the role of the historical treatment (metronidazole) for chemotherapy-induced diarrhea in dogs

    Diarrhea Trial
