Preference shall be given to students from the following counties in Illinois: Madison, St Clair, Bond, Clinton, Jersey, Washington, Marion, Macoupin, Montgomery, Fayette, Jefferson, Franklin, Randolph, Perry, Jackson, Williamson, Clay, Richland, Lawrence, Wabash, Edwards, Wayne, Hamilton, White, Saline, Gallatin, Union, Pope, Hardin, Johnson, Union, Alexander, Pulaski, Massac, and Monroe. Additional preference shall be given to students who demonstrate a strong interest in general practice and surgery.
