For a student from DuPage County or a surrounding county who maintains a grade point average of at least 3.0 and who demonstrates outstanding clinical aptitude, especially in small animal medicine and surgery.

Gianna is a third-year student from Carol Stream, Ill. She is passionate about practicing Fear Free medicine to improve the well-being of dogs and cats, particularly those with behavioral issues. Gianna plans to work at a suburban Chicago private practice that also serves the homeless pet population.
