Carley, a first-generation, fourth-year student from Pottsville, Pa., will be staying on at the University of Illinois after graduation for a food animal reproduction and medicine internship. Carley hopes to specialize in either food animal medicine or theriogenology and to work in academia to teach the next generation of food animal veterinarians.
