Student must be in good academic standing, demonstrate the need for financial assistance, continuous membership in SCAVMA & CVMA, preference to students focusing on small animal practice. Essay topic “How I hope to benefit the veterinary profession in the Chicagoland area after graduation.”

Collin is a third-year student from Aurora, Ill., who is interested in small animal practice and, a few years after graduation, practice ownership. He’s passionate about leadership, team building, and creating a workplace environment where employees enjoy working with one another.
Alyssa is a third-year student from Chicago, Ill. She is interested in small animal general practice, with special interests in surgery, neurology, and nutrition. Alyssa is looking forward to combining and enhancing these skills over the coming year and in practice.
