For a third- or fourth-year student of good character, good communication skills, academic achievement, and submitted proposal for a research project that would benefit dogs and cats.

Valentina is a fourth-year student from Villa Park, Ill. She is engrossed in an intimate atmosphere of mixed animal veterinary care with a keen interest in equine. Valentina hopes to join a rural community practice with opportunities for mentorship, business ownership, and collaboration with the community to improve animal welfare and protection.
