Kamila, a third-year student from Glenview, Ill., is interested in zoological medicine, research, and anesthesiology. She currently works for the Wildlife Epidemiology Laboratory, where she conducts research on a variety of turtle and snake species in northern Illinois. During her clinical year, Kamila has secured externship opportunities at Denver Zoo, Omaha Zoo, and Brookfield Zoo. She aspires to become a board-certified zoological veterinarian.
