Josephine, a third-year student from North Olmsted, Ohio, is interested in small animal general practice or mixed animal practice. She plans to gain certification in both rehabilitation and chiropractics and one day own her own veterinary clinic and animal shelter.

Joshua is a first-year student from Woodbridge, Va., with interests in mixed animal emergency and cardiology. This summer he will be externing at multiple small animal emergency clinics. After graduation Joshua hopes to return to rural Virginia to practice in areas lacking access to veterinary care.
