For a student interested in small animal medicine and surgery and who has been a member of the Illinois Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association for two years and is in good academic standing.

Stephen, a third-year student from South Bend, Ind., is interested in small animal emergency medicine and practice ownership. He is passionate about veterinary leadership, communication, and research and plans to incorporate all of these in his career.
