John Michael Scholarship
For students who demonstrate an interest in early mentoring in a 24-hour full-service facility with the goal of setting up, shadowing and learning in a real-world environment.

Lindsey, a first-year student from Kewanee, Ill., obtained over 1000 hours of veterinary experience in various species as an undergraduate. She is interested in lab animal medicine and emergency medicine. Lindsey currently serves as a representative for VOICE, as vice president of the lab animal medicine club, and as the president-elect of the Illinois chapter of the Student American Veterinary Medicine Association.
