Recipients shall have a high level of financial need and preference shall be given to students who are US citizens or permanent residents from the State of Illinois.

Sarah, a third-year student from Wilmette, Ill., hopes to combine food animal medicine and public health in her future career. She is completing a master’s in public health in conjunction with her veterinary degree. Sarah plans to practice in a rural underserved community in Illinois.
