Dr. J. Wayne Rehn Scholarship
For a student member of the ISVMA with a rural or food animal background, demonstrated achievements in 4-H or FFA, sound integrity, good academic standing, and sincere interest in pursuing a career in rural veterinary medicine.

Benjamin, a second-year student from Gillespie, Ill., is very passionate about large animal medicine and emergency/critical care. He hopes to combine his experience working in a small animal emergency practice in Southern Illinois with his large animal medicine interests. Ben is the president of the Veterinary Business Management Association and is formulating a business idea for a practice that welcomes all creatures great and small.
