Tess Cummings
Tess, a fourth-year student from Danforth, Ill., will be completing a year-long equine internship at Northern Lakes Equine Practice in Illinois after graduation. She plans to practice in a rural area, primarily caring for equine patients with the occasional camelid or small ruminant mixed in.
Jacob Dalen
Jacob is a first-year student originally from Manhattan, Ill. He is passionate about wildlife and conservation and loves to work with the wildlife ambassador animals at the Wildlife Medical Clinic. After graduation, Jacob will apply for a zoo medicine internship and residency program to continue on this career path.
Mikayla Diedrick
Mikayla is a fourth-year student from Daggett, Mich., with a special interest in ruminant theriogenology. She hopes to pursue a career in mixed animal practice where she can help bridge the gap between animal and human health by ensuring a safe and fruitful food supply while maintaining excellent animal welfare.
Grace Fabry
Grace is a second-year student from Akron, Ohio. She is interested in small animal medicine and practice ownership. She hopes to continue exploring the veterinary field this summer with her externships in shelter medicine, oncology, feline medicine, and internal medicine.
