Basia, a fourth-year student from Lombard, Ill., is interested in both small animal and zoo companion animal general practice. After graduation, she plans to work in the western Chicago suburbs and hopes to combine both interests. To focus on her clinical rotations, she has chosen to forgo formal employment and only work occasionally on her Etsy shop.
