VECCS Award For Proficiency in Emergency and Critical Care

The award is intended to be for a 4th year student who has demonstrated extraordinary commitment and exceptional proficiency in caring for emergency and critical care patients (regardless of species). Further, special consideration should be given to students who have been active and productive members of the local Chapter of SVECCS.

 Cheyenne is a fourth-year student from Valparaiso, Ind., who hopes to combine her interests in emergency and critical care and surgery. She has planned off-campus rotations at emergency practices that do surgeries to gain experience in both areas. After graduating, she will practice near her hometown.
