Maggie is a first-year student from Mt. Pulaski, Ill. She is interested in rural mixed animal practice and beef cattle production medicine, including herd management and beef feedlot consultation.

Shelby is a first-year student from Middletown, Ill. She is interested in mixed animal practice with a specialization in dentistry and oral surgery that she plans to apply to any and all species in need. Shelby plans to use summer breaks to develop her skills and gain new experiences.

Ben, a first-year student from Springfield, Ill., is interested in large animal production medicine as well as research. He hopes to work for a large-scale production system or in government and public health, where he can contribute to the health and welfare of animals.
