Josephine, a second-year student from North Olmsted, Ohio, is interested in mixed animal practice, primarily focused on cats, dogs, horses, and cows. In addition, she is interested in pursuing certifications in canine and equine rehabilitation and chiropractic. She hopes to own her own animal clinic and animal shelter someday.

She is interested in mixed animal practice and surgery but is still undecided in which field to pursue as there are so many interesting paths to take as a veterinarian. She hopes to find the perfect fit where she can impact the veterinary field for the better.

Melissa is a third-year student from Saint Cloud, Minn., who enjoys working with both small and large animals. She has a special interest in small animal surgery. After graduation, she plans to go into general mixed animal practice, with a small animal focus, in her home state.

Lilia, a first-year student from Israel, moved to the U.S. in 2017 after the completing three years of military service. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in neuroscience from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2021. Lilia is interested in pursuing small animal neurology or soft tissue surgery.
