For a third- or fourth-year student of good character, good communication skills, academic achievement, and submitted proposal for a research project that would benefit dogs and cats.

Tess is a third-year student from Danforth, Ill. She is interested in pursuing a career in equine veterinary medicine and rural mixed animal practice. She plans on completing an equine internship following graduation and then practicing in a mixed animal practice with a large percentage of equine patients.
