For a student with financial need who is pursuing a career in small animal medicine; preference is given to minority students as well as those with experience at a humane society or animal shelter.

Britt, a third-year student from Libertyville, Ill., has a strong background in community involvement and education. She plans to go into small animal practice after graduation and to work with local and under-represented community members, focusing on top-tier medicine, inclusivity, and enrichment. Britt also hopes to own a practice in the future.
