Mikayla, a third-year student from Daggett, Mich., hopes to pursue a career in mixed animal practice or food animal medicine. She has a special interest in theriogenology. She aspires to improve animal and human health by ensuring a safe and fruitful food supply while maintaining excellent animal welfare.

Mackenzie is a third-year student from Nashville, Ill., with hopes to pursue small animal and zoo companion animal general practice. She is passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and community involvement in rural communities, especially in newer areas of veterinary medicine like exotics and shelter medicine.
