Basia, a third-year student from Lombard, Ill., plans to return to the Chicago suburbs after graduation. She is interested in small animal and companion exotic animal general practice. She has worked as a veterinary assistant but opts to forgo employment during the school year so she can focus on volunteering (at the Wildlife Medical Clinic) and studying.
