Marisa is a second-year student from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She completed a master’s degree in marine science and oceanography before entering veterinary school and has published in this field. Her goals after graduation are to pursue an internship, then residency. She would like to be a clinical veterinarian in aquatic and zoological medicine while also contributing to research.
