Veterinary Medicine Class of 1984 Award

To be used during the fourth-year for an animal-based externship anywhere in the United States, with preference given to a non-profit animal-based externship.

Kayla is a third-year student from Plainfield, Ill. She hopes to pursue a residency in laboratory animal medicine that includes working with reptiles, pigs, and small mammals such as guinea pigs, rats, and mice. Her goal is to promote animal welfare in biomedical science.
