Class of 1979 Scholarship/Janis Audin Memorial
For a third-year student who has emotional maturity and strong leadership and people skills, is in good academic standing, is involved with the student chapter of the AVMA; classmates vote to select five finalists, and winner is selected by the awards committee.

Gracie is a third-year student from Franklin Park, Ill. Although she isn’t quite sure of her career goals, she is planning to pursue a small animal rotating internship after graduation with the hopes of specializing. Gracie is the third-year class representative, the president of two veterinary clubs, and the general manager of the 2023 SAVMA Symposium.
