Nate, a fourth-year student from the suburbs of Milwaukee, Wis., is interested in small animal medicine, fear-free medicine, zoologic companion animal medicine, and small animal orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. The animal-human bond is important to him, and he is excited to begin building relationships not only with the animals that he treats but with their owners as well.
