Andrew Cadwell
Drew is a fourth-year student who grew up around the world, then completed high school and his undergraduate degree in the state of Virginia. He will begin practicing small animal and zoo companion mammal medicine at Pine Point Animal Hospital in Scarborough, Maine. His professional interests include anesthetic/analgesic decision-making, dermatology, zoo companion animal medicine, and holistic medicine.
Katherine Manika
Katie, a fourth-year student from North Riverside, Ill., is especially interested in medicine, surgery, rehabilitation therapy, and behavior. After graduation, she will become an associate veterinarian at Springbrook Animal Care Center in Naperville, Ill. Katie hopes to own a mixed animal hospital in the future.
Emma Mullins
Emma is a third-year student from Dayton, Ohio. She is interested in equine theriogenology and neonatology and hopes to make an impact in the equine sport horse industry. She is looking to do an internship following graduation. Her other interests include practice ownership and sport horse medicine.
Valentina Poggi
Valentina is a third-year student from Villa Park, Ill. She is a driven and goal-oriented individual interested in an intimate atmosphere of mixed animal veterinary care that involves horses, dogs, and cats. She also has a keen interest in reproduction. Valentina wants to join a practice that offers opportunities for mentorship, business ownership, and community engagement to improve animal welfare and protection.
