Jacob, a first-year student originally from Manhattan, Ill., is passionate about wildlife and conservation. He loves to work with the wildlife ambassador animals at the Wildlife Medical Clinic. After graduation, he will apply for a zoo medicine internship and residency program.

Alyssa is a second-year student from Chicago, Ill. She is interested in mixed or small animal general practice, with focuses in surgery, neurology, and nutrition. She hopes to incorporate these interests in her career.
