Founded in 1978, the Wildlife Medical Clinic maintains a strong tradition of providing quality care to free-ranging wildlife. We provide temporary care to injured, diseased or displaced wild animals with the ultimate goal of the release of healthy animals to their natural environment. In doing so, the Wildlife Medical Clinic, embraces a three-fold mission: provide care and treatment to sick, injured and orphaned wild animals, offer hands-on training to veterinary students, and educate members of our community about coexisting with native Illinois wildlife.
