Parenting Strategies

When we are young, we stay close to our parents or guardians, who provide care for us. However, this is not the case for all animals. There are many types of relationships between animal parents and their offspring. Different species have different strategies for raising their young. These strategies are used to increase the likelihood that the babies will survive to become breeding adults themselves.
