Interactive Educational Programs
Welcome to the small animal orthopedic educational and management programs. There are three interactive programs designed to aid in the education of students and the management of orthopedic patients. The orthopedic examination consists of detailed descriptions of the process with images of disease entities and an interactive differential diagnosis tool , Limping Louie. The neurologic examination program also includes detailed descriptions of the process complete with video images. Included in the program are interactive animations of spinal reflexes which allow visualization of the reflex associated with a lesion. The fracture management program (available in 2012) incudes the fracture planning simulator, animations of reduction techniques, the bone healing process and case studies. The animation link takes you to a second page where the animations may be viewed outside their programs.
