Starlight Veterinary Clinic is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Full-Time (or 2 Part-Time), Associate Veterinarian(s) to join our growing team. We are eager to add an open-minded team player with excellent skills and a great work ethic.

Starlight Veterinary Clinic is a full service, small and equine animal veterinary clinic serving your family’s dogs, cats, horses, goats, etc. and has serving the Blue Mounds/Mount Horeb and surrounding communities since 2011. Our clinic offers wellness exams, vaccines, micro-chipping , dental care, routine surgeries, on-site digital x-ray, ultrasound, and emergency services. We also provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and through the use of external laboratories. Our team members are caring people serving the local and extended community with excellence, compassion and drive. We are determined to meet or exceed the expectations of the pets and the people we serve and educate. We are all committed to client/patient care and compassion.

Here’s what you can expect to handle in this role on a routine basis:
Work closely with our clients and their owners
Provide patients with a high level of patient care
Excellent surgical techniques and dental skills
Additional compensation available for 1 weekend a month and 2 evenings a week for on-call/emergencies (for full-time position)

To be successful in this role, you will need:
A strong work ethic, with the ability to multitask
The ability to work seamlessly as a team, as well as independently
Possess strong people skills, with a strong focus on the quality of care
Clear and effective communication skills with pet owners and team members
Acute attention to detail in all procedures and treatments

Requirements:
DVM License and eligible to practice medicine in the state of Wisconsin
Excellent computer software skills and proficient in electronic medical records
