Animal Control Director

The County of Kendall, Illinois is seeking an Animal Control Director.  This position, under the direction of the County Administrator, manages and oversees all of the County’s Animal Control operations, including staff and programs in accordance with Illinois Animal Control Act and County Board policies and procedures. This individual is responsible for the creation of the departmental budget and management of expenditures. The director must maintain an effective working relationships with the public and local officials as related to the operation of the Animal Control Department.  This position requires a driver’s license, a BA degree in Animal Sciences or a related degree or commensurate experience.  Full job description will be provided prior to interview process.  Salary DOQ.
