Job Opportunity: Veterinarian, Afghanistan/Iraq

Comprehensive Health Services is looking for a veterinarian for an overseas assignment in Afghanistan/Iraq. The veterinary field team will be responsible for overall health of canines as part of the Department of State Explosive Detection Canine Team. Very cool stuff!

All lodging and meals are provided, so there are few personal expenses. The work/living location is on a compound with a strong security presence. The rotational schedule of in- country v home varies by contract as well, but it’s typically consists of two four- week leave periods and the company provides a generous travel allowance (airfare) to get you to your leave destination. We have an excellent benefit program (health, vision, dental, life, paid time off, etc…) including 401k with eligibility, match and full vesting on day one.

This is a 12 month contract. We will typically get with an employee 100 days from the end of their contract to determine if they wish to renew or not.
