Full time Mixed Associate Veterinarian position in Menomonie, WI at Country Doctors Veterinary Service.

Country Doctors Veterinary Service is currently 38% SA, 12% Equine, and 50% Dairy. We are a 3.5 doctor mixed animal practice. We have a great support team including 2 technicians, 3 receptionists, and practice manager. out objective is to obtain a progressive, enthusiastic veterinarian, who is passionate about general medicine and surgery across species. The prospective applicant must enjoy people and have a willingness to pursue their own areas of professional interests. An interest in progressive herd health programs including repro, dairy records, calf management, and client education is desired. For the Equine portion of this position, it can be just a general interest or a desire to further develop specific expertise would be mentored and encouraged. Many boarded stables are in our practice area. A general interest in Companion Animal medicine and surgery would support this area also. Three senior members of our veterinary staff have specific interest in either Dairy, Equine, or Companion Animal areas and are willing to mentor to your interests. A willingness to develop and grow team leadership and goal-oriented skills in conjunction with our practice manager and great support staff is preferred.

Our 5,400 sq. ft. clinic was built in 1995 and a 2,400 sq. ft. addition was completed in 2005. Power equine dental floats, 30 watt CO2 laser, digital dental and digital general x-ray, portable x-ray, 2 ultrasounds, CornerStone software Idexx Vet Lab. We firmly support CE for medical, surgical, and business issues. We provide medical insurance with 50% cost share, dues for WVMA and the AVMA, AABP, or AAEP and other benefits. Practice vehicle is provided. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications for the position. We are located 1 hour East of St. Paul, MN, on the I-94 business corridor. We have great local outdoor recreational activities, while also close to major shopping and cultural venues.
