Illinois Faculty Interviewed about Role at Iditarod

KTVA News (March ) – Dr. Sara Connolly, clinical assistant professor in the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, was one of over 50 volunteer veterinarians from five different countries working the Iditarod this year. “We listen to heart and lungs. We can take temperatures,” she said. “We put our hands on the dogs and see how their body weight feels.”
