However, it remains a mystery as to how individual cells coordinate their activity during perception or mobilize activity to drive behavior. Our research actively seeks to understand how neuromodulators such as acetylcholine, dopamine, and norepinephrine, contribute to this coordination and how disruption in these neurotransmitter systems
