Postdoctoral Associates<\/h3>\n

We are seeking new postdoctoral associates! Potential postdoctoral candidates should have or be completing a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Bioengineering or a related discipline. Candidates with demonstrated scientific expertise in one of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply: in vivo electrophysiology, in vivo calcium imaging, and\/or computational neuroscience. Graduate Students<\/b><\/h3>\n

We are currently accepting graduate students! We are affiliated with the graduate programs in the Department of Comparative Biosciences and Department of Bioengineering, and the Interdisciplinary Graduate Neuroscience Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Research Technicians<\/b><\/h3>\n

We have an opening for full-time and part-time research technicians in the lab! Potential applicants should have a bachelor\u2019s degree or relevant experience in Neuroscience Biology, Bioengineering, Computational Neuroscience or a related discipline as well as strong organizational and communication skills. Strong candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas: animal behavioral testing, rodent husbandry, computer programming in MATLAB or Python, or electrophysiology. Prior experience with rodent behavioral research is desired, but not required. Undergraduate Students<\/b><\/h3>\n

Undergraduate students interested in joining the lab, should reach out to Dr. Howard Gritton (hgritton@illinois.edu<\/a>) for information on available positions. Please include a brief statement of why you\u2019re interested in working in this lab, and a description of your availability\/schedule. Students should be willing to commit to ~15hr\/week during the school year. Students with a demonstrated dedication to working through the summer have the opportunity for paid full-time summer internships.<\/p>\n<\/div>
