COVID-19 Testing Adopted by Madison Campus

WISC-TV (Madison, Wis., Jan. 17) – The University of Wisconsin, Madison wrapped up its first week of a new COVID-19 response plan that includes the use of saliva-based tests. The plan is based on the U. of I.’s Shield T3 program, and will require students to be tested twice a week during the spring semester. “Inconclusive tests (at Illinois) became less common as the semester went on,” says Rebecca Smith, an epidemiologist on the Shield T3 team.
