Talia Swartout
Talia, a second-year student from Jackson, Michigan, is pursuing a career in small animal general practice with a specific passion for ophthalmology. She is also committed to integrating holistic medicine approaches, such as rehabilitation and laser therapy, into her future practice. Upon graduation, Talia plans to return to her hometown, bringing advanced care and innovative treatment options to her patients.
Lauryn Slazinski
Lauryn is a third-year student from Akron, Ohio. She is interested in dermatology and practicing with small animals. After graduation, she plans on pursuing internships and a residency in order to become a board-certified dermatologist. She also desires to travel and will happily move wherever her studies take her.
