Carly Etter

Carly is a second-year student from the rural town of Breese in southern Illinois. She aims to combine her passions for production medicine and public health by exploring One Health principles and serving as a liaison between food animal producers and public health initiatives. Currently, she conducts research on antimicrobial resistance genes in the Wildlife Epidemiology Laboratory. This summer she hopes to conduct her own research with beef cattle producers through an internship.
