Criteria: The recipient should be an outstanding graduate student who developed or improved a vaccine or diagnostic test for a pathogen using an innovative molecular approach. The awardee will be based upon publication(s) in a peer reviewed journal or publication(s) accepted for publication in a peer review journal.
