Savannah, a second-year student from Odell, Illinois, wants to pursue a career in mixed animal practice and surgery. This summer she will work at a local clinic and shadow mixed animal veterinarians. Her involvement in the college's peer tutoring program has confirmed her passion for teaching, and she would like to work in academia in the future.
