Jacob, a third-year student from Manhattan, Illinois, has been volunteering at the Wildlife Medical Clinic and participating in clinical externships at various zoological institutions. These activities help raise awareness about conservation issues that he is passionate about. Jacob plans to complete a residency program at an accredited zoological institution and become a board-certified zoo or wildlife veterinarian.
